His mother’s name is Dolarosa Fernandes. He was nicknamed “Junior Rose” by tiatrist C. Alvares when he made his stage debut at the young age of 11.

Alfred Rose decided to adopt this name in 1950, and since then, his family has been known as the Rose family. He was referred to as the “Man with the Golden Voice” by the HMV recording company.

He was incredibly talented and composed more than 5,000 songs.
