M.Boyer was his stage name and his original name was Manuel Santana Aguiar, was an Indian tiatrist from Goa. He was born in Marcaim (North Goa) in 1930 and moved to Raia (South Goa) later. M. Boyer was a talented actor and writer from an early age. He wrote and presented his first play, Rinkari, at the age of 18.

Boyer wrote, directed, and produced more than 35 plays. He also participated in more than 5000 performances and composed and sang over 1000 songs. He performed in major Indian cities, as well as in London, East Africa, and the Middle East.
