Tirthanand Rao Attempts Suicide During Facebook Live Session
Tirthanand Rao: Mimicry artist and comedian Tirthanand Rao recently made a suicide attempt during a Facebook live session.
Rao, known for his portrayal of a ‘junior’ Nana Patekar on The Kapil Sharma Show, consumed phenyl following an argument with his live-in partner, whom he accused of blackmail and extortion in the video.
This is not the first time Rao has tried to take his own life, as he faced financial difficulties during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020.
Despite his recent attempt, he is currently back home and recovering. Rao had previously worked with Kapil Sharma in 2016 and was part of Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe, but had to decline an offer due to prior commitments in a Gujarati film.
Tirthanand Rao Has Expressed His Disappointment
Tirthanand Rao has expressed his disappointment and anguish towards his parents, highlighting their lack of support during his difficult times.
Despite living in the same complex, his family members have chosen not to communicate with him or contribute towards his medical expenses.
When he was admitted to the hospital after his suicide attempt, neither his mother nor his brother visited him. This situation has left him feeling alone and abandoned, intensifying his already challenging financial situation.
It is evident that Rao’s relationship with his parents has strained considerably, as they have seemingly distanced themselves from him during his time of need.
